Each horse has been linked their sires.  If you see text that is underlined, simply click the text to learn more.  These geldings are priced from $1500 to $3000 negotiable and were born in 2005 and 2006.  They are all barrel or roping prospects.  Sparky, a 2005 gelding, is green broke, and the 2006 geldings are ready to start this spring.  They have had all necessary vaccines, have been wormed regularly, are halter broke and have very gentle dispositions.  They all can boast of siblings that have made performance horses.  The colts are priced according to the accomplishments of their siblings.  We think they all have great potential for anything from 4-H to roping and barrels.  4-Hers and other youth riding organization members get a 10% discount.  Unless noted, each horse is still for sale.

Catman (PS Raise A Catman, #X0223165) gelding out of Wildcats Dancer # X0450986.  Sire is Prospective Silver “Buck”.  Date of picture: March 2, 2008

Catman, born in June of 2006, is by Prospective Silver “Buck” click on that name to see Buck on our Stud Page. His mother is a Raise a native mare that we raised, whose sire was a son of Doc’s Tom Cat, an AQHA Champion by Doc Bar.  He has one full brother and 4 half brothers that are presently 1 and 2D barrel horses. His dam and sire are both deceased so Catman will be the last of a successful cross of 2 of our best horses.  Catman is in training at Jamie Free’s in Tomball, Texas. He has only been there since July 5, but is already loping the barrel pattern. Email for a video of Catman under saddle. He obviously is going to be another success story for the Rocking N and for whoever buys him!!
 

Woody (NF Native Secret, AQHA No.X0662695) gray gelding out of Sheza Smokey Honey AQHA # 3605417.  Sire is PF Native Flashdance, AQHA # X0613391. Date of Picture: May 26, 2007

 Woody was born May 26, 2006.  His grandsire is Smokey Duster Too, an AQHA Champion  on his dam’s side, Sheza Smokey Honey also has Me Quick Too, Poco Ashwood,and Star Duster close up.  His sire is a son of Prospective Silver, (Buck) (ss our Stud Page), and also has the bloodlines of Hot Shot Divi (Race ROM), Top Divi (AQHA Champion), Dividend, Special Secret and Raise a Native.

 Woody is 19 months old and is already 15 hands in height.  He is becoming grayer by the day.  With his build and pedigree, he will undoubtedly excel at whatever his owner chooses --.His pedigree has horses that have excelled at pleasure, hunter jumper, racing, team roping and barrels.

 

 Snoopy (DD Snoopy) gelding out of Prospective Dividend, #2941386.  Sire is Dialdollyformuscle "Bisquit".

Snoopy was born July 14, 2006.  His sire is Dialdollyformuscle Bisquit on our Stud Page. His mother is a full sister to Ace and Norman, who are shown on our success story page for their barrel racing ability.  She also has a sister that has been a 4-H allaround and another brother who is a calf roping horse.  Prospective Dividend has also produced 2 AQHA point earners with points in barrel racing.   With his dam’s producing ability and his sire’s cutting and roping background, Snoopy should make an excellent all-around youth horse or probably anything else anyone would want to attempt.  Other horses in Snoopy’s pedigree include Hot Shot Divi, race ROM, Prospective Silver, Race ROM, and Copper Queen Gee (his great granddam), who was double bred King and a 4-H state finals reining champion and district halter champion.  Snoopy has been sold.

 

Ebon  (BJ Hotshot King, #4934812) out of PS Kings Sunny Doll #3719058.  Sire is QB Mighty Blue Jack "Max".

Ebon is out of, PS Kings Sunny Doll #3719058, who is another full sister to Ace and Norman (See Success Story Page)  PS Kings Sunny Doll is the dam of 2 other horses on the Success Story Page,  Sunny, and Cocoa.  His d.o.b. is August 10, 2006.

Ebon’s sire is Max (QB Mighty Blue Jack - one of our Stallions)  Max is Blue Valentine and 2-Eyed Jack.  Ebon is the first cross of these two horses, and his pedigree would make him a candidate for many events including roping, 4-H all-around, or timed events.  His dam is well broke and could have made a competitive western pleasure mare.  Ebon has been sold.

 

Dandy (PS Raise A Dandy, #X0663164) out of Ima Flash Dancer.  Sire is Prospective Silver “Buck”.

Dandy is out of Ima Flash Dancer, and Prospective Silver “Buck” (See Stud Page)  His d.o.b. is June 27, 2006.  Flash, our stud is a full brother to Dandy, who will be last of offspring from this cross since Buck is deceased, and Dancer has been retired.  Buck is a Citation Bars, Sugar Bars cross with a Race ROM.  Dancer is out of a Raise-a-Native mare by Hot Shot Divi, our first race ROM stud.   Most of Dandy’s relatives have made barrel or roping horses, and undoubtedly, he has the ability to follow in their footsteps.  Dandy has been sold.

 

Sparky (PS Silver Cat, AQHA X0850889) out of one of our Raise a Native mares.  Sire is Prospective Silver “Buck”.  DOB April 11, 2005.

Are you looking for a barrel prospect…you’ve come to the right place!!  Sparky is a very gentle green broke buckskin gelding that is ready to start on the road to following in his siblings’ footsteps!!  And this gives you many options. Sparky has several solid 1D barrel horses in his pedigree (See our success stories) as well as roping horses.  He is by Prospective Silver “Buck” (See Stud page), and out of one of our Raise a Native mares.  The crosses between Buck and our Raise-a-Native mares have produced horses that have rated on the track, made good ranch horses, and have never disappointed us in their ability to run barrels, all the while remaining extremely quiet. No reason why Sparky couldn’t excel in 4-H or make a youth all-around as well.  Sparky’s grandsire is a Doc Tom Cat horse, an AQHA champion with points in roping and reining.  All Sparky needs is someone to continue on with his training.   Click here to see other pictures of Sparky.
